Stout Monelli boasts a class edge in the fourth at Sandown Park tonight and will take a power of beating.
The son of Barcia Bale has won three of his last four starts and broke the clock in Group 2 company here three back.
I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Wipe The Tears and Mepunga Warrior each running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 6 Stout Monelli (Win)
- 1 Wipe The Tears (Top 4)
- 8 Mepunga Warrior (Top 4)
Kinrock Star is a little inconsistent, but he is drawn to receive all of the favours at Sandown Park tonight, and does boast huge ability.
The son of Kinloch Brae charged home to score an impressive win in fast time at Ballarat two back, but wasn’t able to get into his race at The Meadows last time out and finished midfield.
If he steps well tonight, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.
Collinda Lady is another chaser whose winning claims have been enhanced with an ideal drawing at Sandown Park tonight.
The daughter of Zambora Brockie has returned some lovely efforts recently, none better than her last-start demolition job at The Meadows.
A repeat of that performance tonight would likely see her just winning again.
Sir Chappy is ready to strike when he steps out in the penultimate race at Sandown Park tonight.
The Dundee Osprey won over 525m at The Meadows last month and while he hasn’t managed to win since then, he has returned some nice competitive performances around some decent chasers.
He won’t have any excuses tonight and he is another who can make all of his own luck on the speed.
