Daily Racing Tips – Swan Hill Cup Day Edition

Swan Hill: Race 4 (1:25pm)
No. 5 Harbin

Harbin faces a rise in class at Swan Hill this afternoon, but he was an impressive winner last time out, and this does look the next logical target.

The Artie Schiller colt only just missed at The ‘Bool two starts back, and he was hardly troubled at Stawell last time out.

He steps out today in peak order and is drawn to receive a lovely run from barrier 6.

Swan Hill: Race 6 (2:35pm)
No. 3 Cadboll

Cadboll can make a winning return to the races at Swan Hill this afternoon.

The Under The Louvre gelding hasn’t been seen at the racers since February, but he returned some nice performances last time in, and won at this point of his preparation.

The booking of Linda Meech is positive and with even luck, he looks up to winning something of this quality.

Swan Hill: Race 7 (3:15pm)
No. 11 Miss Five Hundred

I’m keen to stick with Miss Five Hundred when she steps out in this mile and a half race at Swan Hill.

The Dundeel mare has been up and racing for a while, but she has continued to returned some excellent performances, and she only just missed over 2000m at Mornington last time out.

She gets into this race well under the conditions and will be tough to beat.

Swan Hill: Race 8 (3:50pm)
No. 2 Silent Sovereign

Silent Sovereign is the one that I want to be with in this year’s Swan Hill Cup.

The Dalakhani mare has returned to the races in typically outstanding form this time, placing at her first two back before winning the Group 2 Queen Of The South at Morphettville last month.

She was last seen finishing fourth, beaten eight lengths in the Centaurea Stakes, but getting back to a mile today is ideal, and she boasts a class edge over a lot of these rivals.
