Chiquitita doesn’t win out of turn, but she has drawn ideally into this contest and will take beating.
The daughter of Collision didn’t show a lot through April, but she returned from a freshen up to finish second, beaten only two lengths in Newcastle last month.
She can go straight to the lead tonight and will be tough to catch over the short trip.
Little Sophia is another one that has drawn ideally into the fifth at Gosford tonight and will take plenty of beating.
The daughter of Kinda Cruel Red has won three of her last five starts, all at this track and distance, and she was only just denied last time out.
If she steps well, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.
Double Threat is drawn to receive a lovely run at Gosford tonight and he’ll take plenty of beating.
The son of Chenzhou Boy has been undone by poor luck more than anything recently, but he has still found form around some quality chasers.
He should have any excuses tonight from Box 2, so I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Prince Leo running into the first three and Barty Party running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 2 Double Threat (Win)
- 4 Prince Leo (Top 3)
- 8 Barty Party (Top 4)
Little Fingers takes winning form into the eighth at Gosford tonight and looks the one to beat again.
The son of Fast Times has been a consistent performer throughout his prep, and he was rewarded again with another impressive win here last time out.
With even luck from the central draw, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.
