Travis’s Lauryn can bounce back in the fifth at Albion Park this evening.
The son of Barcia Bale has won five of his last eight starts, only just missing on another occasion, and he has found form around some classy opponents.
He was never in the race here last week, but from the rails draw, he won’t he have any excuses this time.
Morton’s Jilliby can go straight to the lead in Race 6 at Albion Park this evening and make every post a winner.
The daughter of Ando’s Mac recorded a dominant win here at the backend of her last prep, but she clearly needed the run when fifth, beaten six lengths when resuming late last month.
I’m expecting good improvement for that hit-out, and this looks to be a very winnable race.
He’s Smoking is another chaser than can lead all the way at Albion Park tonight.
The son of Barcia Bale has returned some lovely performances recently, highlighted by a strong effort at this track and trip two starts back.
I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Fly Fernando running into the first three and Xella Angel running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 He’s Smoking (Win)
- 8 Fly Fernando (Top 3)
- 7 Xella Angel (Top 4)
The consistent Sutton’s Lass gets a chance to win at Albion Park tonight.
Sutton’s Lass doesn’t win out of turn, but she also rarely returns a poor effort, and she has only just missed at each of her last four appearances.
She’s drawn to receive every chance tonight and I am happy to give her another chance.
