Daily Racing Tips – Sunday, May 15

Parkes: Race 7 (3:20pm)
No. 4 The Cruiser

The Cruiser was an impressive winner last time out, and he is the one that I want to be with in the featured sprint at Parkes today.

The Cruiser won over 1000m at Sandown back in March, and he has returned several excellent efforts since, including his smart win at Pakenham last time.

He’s rock-hard fit, and this looks a lovely race for him.

Bendigo: Race 6 (3:45pm)
No. 8 Copperfield

Copperfield takes winning form into the sixth at Bendigo today, and he can begin his rise through the grades.

The Per Incanto gelding finished third on debut at Sandown in November and was immediately turned out, and he completed an ideal return with a dominant win at Ballarat late last month.

He’ll only improve for that effort, and this looks the next logical target for him.

Parkes: Race 8 (3:59pm)
No. 6 Toulon Brook

Matt Dale has sent Toulon Brook to Parkes to contest the Cup today, and I think that it will prove to be an excellent decision.

Toulon Brook is yet to score in three starts back this time, but he has improved with each, and he was last seen finishing third in BM74 company at the Sapphire Coast.

He steps out today in peak order, and the $7 about him at publish looks a touch of overs.

Bendigo: Race 8 (4:45pm)
No. 5 Frostin'

Frostin’ can win the last at Bendigo this afternoon.

The Frosted gelding was excellent during his two-year-old campaign, and broke his maiden here at Bendigo before only just missing in the VOBIS Gold Rush.

He has mixed his form a little in subsequent preps, but he has improvement noticeably for his two starts back this time, and this is probably the easiest task that he has been set.
