Muswellbrook: Race 2 (1:35pm)
No. 2 Eva Daniela

Eva Daniela gets another chance to record an elusive win at Muswellbrook this afternoon.

The daughter of I Am Invincible didn’t show a lot on debut at Scone in December, but she has improved with each of her three subsequent starts, finishing second on every occasion.

She steps out today in peak order and probably won’t be offered a better opportunity than this.

Muswellbrook: Race 4 (2:50pm)
No. 7 She Hulk

She Hulk takes winning form into the fourth at Muswellbrook today, and she looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The Hinchinbrook filly hasn’t finished worse than second in five starts this year, winning twice, including a dominant effort at Armidale last time.

She has been moved to the care of Brett Cavanough since that effort, and I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.

Muswellbrook: Race 5 (3:25pm)
No. 7 Leading Lady

Leading Lady is ready to win third-up at Muswellbrook today.

The Maurice filly finished at the tail of the field at Gosford when resuming, but she kept all of her best work for late when third, beaten just over a length at Port Macquarie last month.

Fitter third-up, I think that this looks a great race for her.

Muswellbrook: Race 6 (4:05pm)
No. 5 Lightfast

Lightfast broke his maiden in style at Tamworth when resuming, and this looks the next logical step.

The Dundeel gelding didn’t show a lot during his debut prep, but trialled well ahead of his current campaign and put the writing on the wall with a lovely win first-up.

He’ll only improve for that effort and can continue his rise through the grades.
