Cranbourne: Race 2 (6:15pm)
No. 10 Tayla's Moment

Tayla’s Moment gets another chance to break her maiden at Cranbourne this evening.

The daughter of Shalaa is an eleven-start maiden, but she has raced consistently since debuting, placing on six occasions.

She was unlucky to only just miss here a fortnight ago, and this looks her chance to go one better.

Cranbourne: Race 5 (7:45pm)
No. 6 Prince Of Mercia

Prince Of Mercia takes winning form into the fifth at Cranbourne tonight, and he can continue his rise through the grades.

The Magnus gelding has been a consistent performer for the Clayton Douglas yard since debuting, and he completed an ideal return to the races with an easy win at Geelong earlier this month.

He harbours plenty of improvement, and something like this does look the next logical step.

Cranbourne: Race 6 (8:15pm)
No. 6 Safe Passage

The consistent Safe Passage takes her place in Race 6 at Cranbourne tonight, and she is ready to win.

The daughter of Snitzel has returned some quality performances around some good horses this time in, and she only just missed behind Love Takes Time at Pakenham last time out.

She ahs been freshened since that effort and can strike in something like this.

Cranbourne: Race 8 (9:15pm)
No. 4 Sugartown

Sugartown hasn’t been seen at the races since October, but this is a drop in class from what she was contesting last time, and she can make a winning return.

The Shamus Award mare won each her of first two starts back last time in, and raced well in Saturday metro company.

She is yet to finish worse than second at this point of her prep, and she is my best bet of the night.
