Extra Malt will take a power of beating in Race 6 at Albion Park tonight.
The daughter of Paw Licking returned to winning form at Ipswich in March and hasn’t taken a backwards step, winning her last five starts in total, in impressive fashion.
I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Barcelona Cyndie running into the first three and Lucky Lance running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 2 Extra Malt (Win)
- 3 Barcelona Cyndie (Top 3)
- 8 Lucky Lance (Top 4)
I’m Explosive is undefeated from Box 1, and that alone is enough for me to stick with her in the Carnival Chase Final.
The daughter of Barcia Bale’s recent form has been typically smart, and she broke the clock in her heat here last week,
If she steps well, I think that she will be winning.
There is a case to be made for a few of them in the Young Guns Final, but Tungsten Miss looks to be the value in my opinion.
Tungsten Miss has missed placing only once in her last seven trips to the races, winning four times and finding form around some talented chasers.
She can go straight to the lead tonight from Box 2 and give them something to chase.
Kingsbrae Tiger looks a touch of overs in the penultimate race at Albion Park.
The consistent daughter of Fast Time has raced well in decent company recently, and she only just missed over 421m last time out.
She has had a short break since that effort, and we can have an each-way play at the price.
