Wentworth Park: Race 4 (7:07pm)
No. 8 Chasing Fernando

Chasing Fernando takes winning form into the fourth at Wentworth Park tonight and looks capable of making it two in a row.

The son of Fernando Bale hasn’t missed placing at his last five trips to the races, winning twice, including an impressive effort at this track and distance last time.

His form from out wide is good, and with even luck, he can win again.

Wentworth Park: Race 6 (7:49pm)
Same Race Multi

Connections has returned some outstanding performances recently, and he looms as the one to beat again in Race 6 at Wentworth Park tonight.

The son of Fernando Bale has won five of his last eight starts, but he seems to be improving every time that he steps out, and he put paid to them here last week.

I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi tonight, and fill out my ticket further with Hold Me Up and Sharky’s Wish each running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 6 Connections (Win)
  • 1 Hold Me Up (Top 4)
  • 2 Sharky’s Wish (Top 4)
Wentworth Park: Race 8 (8:26pm)
No. 1 Fernando Hunter

The strong and consistent Fernando Hunter takes his place in the eighth at Wentworth Park tonight, and he can return to winning form.

Fernando Hunter charged in to score an easy win at Gunnedah four starts back, and he is unlucky to have finished second in each of his three subsequent appearances.

He is drawn to receive all of the favours tonight, and it does look his race to lose.

Wentworth Park: Race 9 (8:45pm)
No. 6 Magic Flame

Magic Flame can be in something like this for a long way.

The daughter of Fernando Bale has owned many pleasing performances this time in, and she has found form around some talented chasers.

She will need some early luck tonight after drawing Box 6, but if she gets it, I think she’ll prove tough to catch.
