Sapphire Coast: Race 3 (2:10pm)
No. 7 Last Quest

This looks a lovely race for Last Quest.

The four-year-old son of All Too Hard broke his maiden here earlier in his prep, and he has continued to race well amongst tougher company since.

He steps out today in peak order, he’s drawn ideally, and he can fight out the finish.

Sapphire Coast: Race 4 (2:50pm)
No. 2 Noble Exception

Noble Exception has improved for two starts back this time, and he is ready to win at the Sapphire Coast this afternoon.

The Exceed And Excel colt finished down the order at Canberra when resuming, but he returned a far better performance to third, beaten just over a length at the same track, last time.

Fitter third-up and back to country company, this looks his opportunity to win.

Sapphire Coast: Race 6 (4:07pm)
No. 2 Mittata

Mittata returned a nice effort to finish second in a similar race at Canberra when resuming, and he can go one better at the Sapphire Coast today.

The Shooting To Win gelding was a consistent performer throughout his spring prep last year, and his first-up effort this time suggested that he has furnished into a strong horse.

With any improvement, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.

Sapphire Coast: Race 7 (4:46pm)
No. 10 Mickeyrats

Mickeyrats is ready to win when she steps out in the last at the Sapphire Coast this afternoon.

The Glass Harmonium mare is now a seven-start maiden, but she has improved noticeably for her three starts back this time, and she only just missed at Canberra last time out.

She strikes this race in peak order, she’s drawn and weighted well, and she might not be offered a better opportunity to win.
