Wentworth Park: Race 5 (7:26pm AEDT)
No. 3 Idolize

Idolize was an impressive winner here last week, and she is the one that I want to be with in the first Golden Easter Egg Semi-Final.

Idolize has been a strong and consistent performer throughout her preparation, winning six of her last eight starts including a Group 1 feature at The Meadows in February.

She can go straight to the lead tonight, and she’ll prove extremely difficult to catch.

Wentworth Park: Race 6 (7:46pm AEDT)
No. 1 Handsome Rhino

Handsome Rhino is drawn to receive all the favours in this contest, and he will take plenty of beating.

The son of Aston Dee Bee has won two of his last three starts, highlighted by a smart performance from out wide here last week.

He’s another chaser who can go straight to the lead tonight and make all of his own luck on the pace.

Wentworth Park: Race 7 (8:10pm AEDT)
No. 2 Wow

I am a big fan of Wow, and he can win the third Golden Easter Egg Semi-Final.

The son of Fernando Bale has been a typically strong and consistent performer throughout campaign, and he was unlucky not to strike in Group 1 company here back in January.

He can slot in behind the early pace, likely to be set by the dog drawn to his inside, and he can finish over the top.

Wentworth Park: Race 8 (8:34pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

She’s A Pearl is one of the favourites to win next week’s Group 1 Final, and she can win passage through in tonight’s fourth Semi-Final.

She’s A Pearl returned to winning form here at Wentworth Park last month and hasn’t taken a backwards step, winning seven races in succession ahead of this contest.

There isn’t much value left in her win quote, so I am instead going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi, and build out my bet further with Coast Model running into the first three and Ties That Bind running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • No 2. She’s A Pearl (Win)
  • 8 Coast Model (Top 3)
  • 3 Ties That Bind (Top 4)
