Premier League Game Week 30 Tips & Preview

The Premier League is approaching the final straight, with eight games remaining and plenty left to fight for!

The FA Cup quarter-finals are scheduled to play out over the weekend, as City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and a host of other sides focus on domestic silverware, meaning we’re left with just four Premier League fixtures to take place.

Although the title race will be put on hold this week, there is still plenty to play for, with top-four hopefuls Arsenal, Tottenham, and Westham all taking to the pitch.

We’ve previewed all four Game Week 30 fixtures and provided our best betting plays below!

WOLVES VS LEEDS
Wolves $2.15

The Wolves can jump into the top six should they claim their third league win on the trot, standing in their way is a Leeds side desperate to distance themselves from the dreaded drop zone.

Wolverhampton are undefeated across their last six fixtures against the Whites in all comps (5W,1D), outscoring their visitors 11-2 across the trip.

Under 2.5 goals have been scored in the last three fixtures between this pair, with both teams scoring just once in the last four games.

The Whites claimed a much-needed three points against the Canaries last time out, though a victory over a side consigned to their tragic destiny is not much to write home about.

I’m taking the Wolves to push hard to claim a European birth next season, with what should be a comfortable win at home.

ASTON VILLA VS ARSENAL
Both Teams to Score (No) $2.15

Fourth spot is the Gunners to lose, as Arteta’s men travel to Villa Park in a bid to get back to winning ways.

Arsenal was on a five-game winning streak before they fell to a 2-0 defeat against the high-flying Reds, a streak which has them poised to secure their first top-four finish in five years.

Standing in their way are the Villans, who roll into this fixture in decent nick themselves, winning three of their last four league starts (1L).

Though Arsenal claimed victory against the Villans at home earlier in the season, the Gunners have failed to score across the pair’s previous three hit outs, with Villa claiming all nine competition points.

Both teams have failed to score in eight of their previous ten head-to-heads, a trend I’m backing to continue here.

LEICESTER VS BRENTFORD
Ivan Toney $2.40

Brentford are out to secure three straight top-flight victories for the first time since 1946 when they take on Leicester this weekend.

The Bees’ recent success can be attributed to an Ivan Toney purple patch, the athletic striker has scored seven goals in his last five fixtures, including a pair of braces across Brentford’s last two victories.

Alternatively, Leicester has won just two of their last eight league games, most recently firing a blank in a defeat to the Gunners.

Both outfits have been found wanting on the defensive end this season, with Schmeichel and Raya managing a lousy five clean sheets each.

I’m expecting plenty of changes to be created at both ends of the pitch here, with Ivan Toney to trigger his weekly goal-scoring bonus!

TOTTENHAM VS WEST HAM
Harry Kane to Score + Spurs to Win $2.50

This shortened game week wraps up on Monday morning (AEST) when Tottenham hosts the Hammers in a high-stakes London derby.

The Spurs bounce back from defeat against United last weekend, claiming a mid-week victory over the Seagulls, with Harry Kane scoring his seventh goal across his last six league games, a timely return to form as his side fights for UCL qualification.

Similarly, the Hammers scraped past Villa last weekend, keeping their top-four dream alive.

Harry Kane has scored eight goals across his last six home fixtures against West Ham, while the home side has won four of the last five fixtures between this pair (1D).

I’m backing England’s captain to continue his hot run of scoring form, while keeping his side within striking distance of the four!
