Goulburn: Race 1 (12:40pm AEDT)
No. 4 I Am Brazen

I Am Brazen looms as the one to beat in the first at Goulburn today.

The Brazen Beau filly didn’t show a lot during her brief debut prep, but the decision to spell paid immediately dividends when she returned a winner here last month.

This is slightly harder, but it looks the next logical step.

Goulburn: Race 4 (2:25pm AEDT)
No. 6 Toretto

The consistent Toretto will go around in Race 4 at Goulburn today, and this looks a very winnable one for him.

The Press Statement gelding was far to good for his rivals in Class 1 company here at Goulburn when fresh, and he kept all of his best work for late when second here last time.

Fitter third-up, I think he’ll take plenty of beating.

Goulburn: Race 7 (4:20pm AEDT)
No. 13 Taizai

Taizai has been scratched from a couple of similar races throughout the last week, and I think that she will win at Goulburn today.

The Maurice filly hasn’t missed placing in three starts back from a spell, and she finished second over 1400m at Randwick-Kensinton last time.

She steps out this week at peak fitness and might not be offered a better opportunity to strike.

Goulburn: Race 8 (4:55pm AEDT)
No. 2 Gin Martini

The Group 3 Kembla Grange Classic will instead be run here at Goulburn today, and I think that a horse like Gin Martini can have an impact at a nice price ($15 at publish).

Gin Martini has improved noticeably with each of her first starts back this time, and she has won each of her last two with something in hand.

This is a rise in class, but she has the runs on the board, she has wet form, and we can have an each-way play at the price.
