Geelong: Race 4 (7:46pm AEDT)
No. 2 Purnia Bale

Purnia Bale is drawn to receive a lovely run in Race 4 at Geelong tonight, and she will take plenty of beating.

The daughter of Dyna Lachlan charged in to score an impressive win here four starts back, and she has filled the minors from out wide at her last two.

She can slot in behind the early pace tonight and finish over the top of them.

Geelong: Race 7 (8:47pm AEDT)
No. 1 Waldemar Bale

I’m expecting Waldemar Bale to go straight to the lead and prove difficult to catch at Geelong tonight.

The son of Orson Allen doesn’t win out of turn, but he has raced consistently around some above-average chasers recently, and he has been undone by poor luck more than anything.

This looks his opportunity to strike.

Geelong: Race 9 (9:28pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Just Gab and Maximum Brooke are each drawn ideally at Geelong tonight, and I am going to have a Same Race Multi.

Just Gab has been a consistent performer throughout her campaign, while Maximum Brooke has really only been undone by poor luck.

I’m going to select both runners to finish in the top two, and fill out my bet further with High Priority running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Just Gab (Top 2)
  • 2 Maximum Brooke (Top 2)
  • 8 High Priority (Top 4)
Geelong: Race 10 (9:48pm AEDT)
No. 1 Go Saints Go

Go Saints Go is another chaser whose claims on winning have been enhanced with his drawing of Box 1.

The son of Moreira has raced well in some decent contests recently, and he is another who has really only been undone by poor luck.

He can go straight to the lead tonight and make all of his own luck.
