Rosie Red will take winning form into the sixth at Murray Bridge tonight, and she looms as the chaser to beat again.
The daughter of Aston Dee Bee has been a consistent performer throughout her campaign, but her last-start effort, a dominant win over 530m at Angle Park was one of the better performances of her prep.
I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with He’s All Purpose running into the first three and Aston Noah running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 Rosie Red (Win)
- 2 He’s All Purpose (Top 3)
- 4 Aston Noah (Top 4)
Zinfandel Oompa is chasing a hat-trick of wins when she steps out at Murray Bridge tonight, and she looks well placed to pull it off.
The daughter of Fernando Bale charged in to score an eye-catching win at Gawler two starts back, and she franked that effort in a tougher race at Angle Park last time.
She maps to go forward tonight and she will give them something to chase.
Scratchings have decimated this field, and I think that Craggy Island can capitalise with a win.
Craggy Island charged in to score an impressive win in fast time at Angle Park two starts back, and he was luckless almost from the outset last time, in what was a run that I am happy to put a pen through.
Beatific looks to be his biggest concern, but I think that Craggy Island will have the edge in this contest.
Victory Chase is drawn to receive a lovely run in the penultimate race at Murray Bridge tonight, and he can record a third win in succession.
The son of Lochinvar Marlow has gone to another level recently, winning four of his last five starts.
Given the pace that he has shown in his last two races in particular, I’m confident that they won’t be able to catch him again tonight.
