Wentworth Park: Race 4 (7:02pm AEDT)
No. 8 Connections

Last-start winner Connections looks well placed to strike again at Wentworth Park tonight.

The son of Fernando Bale has been a strong and consistent performer throughout his campaign, winning six of his last eight starts.

His form from out wide is good and with even luck, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.

Wentworth Park: Race 5 (7:26pm AEDT)
No. 2 Wow

Wow is one of the best chasers in the country, and he can win through to next week’s Group 1 Golden Easter Egg Final.

The son of Fernando Bale hasn’t missed placing at his last eight starts, winning four times including a dominant effort at this track and trip last time.

If he steps well, he’ll take a power of beating.

No. 5 Showdown

This is one of the more open contests of the night, and a chaser like Showdown rates as a key winning chance at a lovely price ($10 at publish).

The son of Sh Avatar has been excellent of late, and he has found form around some of the country’s best, in some strong races.

He will need some luck from the central draw, but we can have an each-way play at the price.

Wentworth Park: Race 7 (8:07pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

She’s A Pearl is the one to beat in Race 7 at Wentworth Park tonight.

The daughter of Aston Dee Bee has won each of her last six starts in impressive, breaking the clock almost every time.

I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Good Odds Cash running into the first three and Aston Merit running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 8 She’s A Pearl (Win)
  • 6 Good Odds Cash (Top 3)
  • 1 Aston Merit (Top 4)
