I’m going to have a Same Race Multi in the Group 1 Cannington Galaxy Final, and I think that Mambo Monelli will be the winner.
Mambo Monelli has gone to another level recently, winning seven of his last eight starts and finishing second on the other occasion, and he put paid to them in his heat here last week.
With him on top, I’m also going to include Mepunga Ruby running into the first three and Gypsy Wyong running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 4 Mambo Monelli (Win)
- 8 Mepunga Ruby (Top 3)
- 3 Gyspy Wyong (Top 4)
Lala Kiwi is one of the best chasers in the country, and she’s the one to beat in this year’s Group 1 Perth Cup Final.
The daughter of Aussie Infrared has won each of her last four starts in dominant fashion, striking in Group 1 company at The Meadows late last month, and returning a bullish performance in her heat here last week.
She need only step well from the central box to be in the finish again.
Tiger Town will need some luck after drawing awkwardly, but I think he might just be the best chaser in this race, and I am happy to stick with him.
The son of My Redeemer recorded consecutive wins at this track and distance two and three starts back, and overcame a tough run to fill the minors last time.
If he steps well, I think he’ll take a power of beating.
Zippy Zenvo is drawn to receive all of the favours in the tenth, and I am confident she can send us home a winner.
The daughter of Kc And All has mixed her form a little recently, but her best efforts have been very good, and include some dominant performances over this route.
She maps to go forward and can make every post a winner.
