When it comes to watching the Super Bowl, it’s not just the game or the half-time show that is the major drawcard for viewers.
It’s the ads.
Well, for the majority of the millions of viewers watching in the USA it is.
A 30-second spot on NBC (this year’s broadcaster of the game) during the Super Bowl will set you back just a lazy $6.5 million US (about $9.5 million AUD) if you don’t mind and most of the commercials air only once.
While in Australia we’re treated to ads for Mosh featuring our good mate Steven Bradbury, Subway, some random NBL game, that Tom Brady doco and ads for this fine organization on ESPN, and viewers on Channel 7 will see plenty of Clive Plamer, it is America where the commercials are the star of the show.
Like every year the Super Bowl commercials lineup is full of star-studded, funny, entertaining, and somewhat wanky productions we’ve trawled the internet to find some of the ones that our American friends will be seeing during Sunday Night (US)/Monday morning (AU) broadcast.

Worth noting that the Yanks refer to the car company as “Knee-Sarn” rather than “Niss-anne” as we do here in Australia.

Toyota – Start Your Impossible
Not all Super Bowl commercials have to be funny.
Some just tell some amazing stories.
Such as this one from Toyota which highlights the story of Brian and Robin McKeever ahead of the Beijing Winter Paralympics.
Bud Light Seltzer – Land of Loud Flavours
Bud Light now makes Seltzer, as is all the rage right now and has signed up the King of Flavour – Fieri to promote it.
Uber Eats – Trevor Noah
Uber Eats has signed up a number of celebs to take part in Super Bowl ads and released this teaser.
BIC EZ Reach – “Pass It” with Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart
Performing at half-time, doing ads for Menulog in Australia and now starring in ads for BIC with Martha Stewart, is there anything Snopp Dogg won’t put his name to?
