Gosford: Race 4 (7:58pm AEDT)
No. 8 Cowboy Ethics

Cowboy Ethics has been a model of consistency recently, and he looms as the one to beat in Race 4 at Gosford tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale has missed placing once in his last five starts, and he was lucky not to strike at Richmond only a few days ago.

He’s rock-hard fit, his form from out wide is competitive and he will take plenty of beating in something like this.

Gosford: Race 5 (8:18pm AEDT)
No. 3 Baby Driver

Baby Driver can go straight to the lead and make every post a winner in the fifth at Gosford tonight.

The son of Aston Dee Bee has recorded three wins and two second placings from his seven career starts so far, and he proved too good in a similar race here at Gosford last week.

He boasts the best box speed of anything in this contest and he’ll prove tough to catch over the sprint trip.

Gosford: Race 7 (8:58pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Miss Sadie Lea is drawn to receive all of the favours in Race 7 at Gosford tonight, and she can return to winning form.

The daughter of Collision recorded consecutive wins at this track and trip two and three starts back, and she flew home after missing the start last week.

I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Bodacious Star running into the first three and She Has Style running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Miss Sadie Lea (Win)
  • 6 Bodacious Star (Top 3)
  • 4 She Has Style (Top 4)
Gosford: Race 9 (9:38pm AEDT)
No. 2 Mercator Closer

Just five chasers will line up in the ninth at Gosford tonight, and I think that it looks a great opportunity for Mercator Closer to strike.

Mercator Closer doesn’t win out of turn, but he also rarely returned a poor effort, and he finished second in a photo finish at Wentworth Park two starts back.

He maps to go forward tonight from Box 2, and he’ll be in this race for a long way.
