Mepunga Mustang’s recent form has been outstanding, and he can win tonight’s Group 3 Country Championship Final.
The son of Bacia Bale has won five of his last seven starts in impressive fashion, and takes his place tonight following a bullish six-length victory at Ballarat.
He will need to step well, but with appropriate luck I believe that he will be winning.
Jarick Bale is drawn to receive all of the favours in Race 5 at The Meadows tonight and I think that he’ll take a power of beating.
The son of Allen Deed returned to winning form at Sandown Park late last month and hasn’t taken a backwards step, winning each of his last three with something in hand.
I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and fill out my bet further with Aston Ulysees running into the first three and Weblec Jet running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 Jarick Bale (Win)
- 7 Aston Ulysees (Top 3)
- 8 Weblec Jet (Top 4)
She has opened a pretty short favourite in betting, but Mepunga Ruby is the class chaser in this year’s Fanta Bale Super Stayers Final, and I am happy to stick with her.
Mepunga Ruby has been a star since her first appearances at the races, and she has been a typically strong and consistent performer throughout her campaign.
She dominated her heat in fast time here last week and will take a power of beating again.
I’m siding with Zippy Tesla in tonight’s Australian Cup Final.
Zippy Tesla has returned some bold efforts in strong races recently, finishing fourth in Group 1 company two back before absolutely destroying his rivals last week.
He can slot in just behind the speed from Box 3 and power over the top of them late.
