Daily Dogs – Saturday, February 19

The Meadows: Race 6 (8:20pm)
No. 1 True Collinder

True Collinda has drawn to receive all the favours in Box 1 and looks capable of pushing forward and running most of these off their feet early.

The daughter of Zambora Brockie won back-to-back starts at Bendigo and Geelong recently and is much better than her recent performance over the track and distance last week suggests.

Likely improver from a much kinder draw.

The Meadows: Race 8 (8:58pm)
No. 5 Paddy Wants Pat

Paddy Wants Pats is a six-time track and distance winner and is stepping out on Saturday in search of his hat-trick.

The two-year-old by Black Magic Opal has won his last two starts at Ballarat by a combined six lengths, and he does look to have enough early speed under the hood to offset the awkward box.

The Meadows: Race 9 (9:20pm)
Same Race Multi

Titan Blazer steps out in search of his hat-trick after gapping his rivals by seven lengths here last week. He recorded a time of 29.24 seconds and looks tough to beat.

Quintessa Bale has also rattled off back-to-back wins and has missed the money only once here at The Meadows from four starts.

Handsome Rhino owns an equally impressive record at this venue and is better than his recent two starts suggest.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

No. 1 Titan Blazer (Win)

No. 5 Quintessa Bale (Top 3)

No. 8 Handsome Rhino (Top 4)

The Meadows: Race 11 (10:00pm)
No. 1 Weblec Jet

Weblec Jet is coming off back-to-back placings at Sandown and should appreciate getting back to 525m now.

He’s won five from 11 starts at The Meadows and placed on three other occasions, while he’s also aided by the inside draw.

Just needs to save his best for late to withstand those drawn wide.
