This looks to be a race in two between Little Tiger and Devel Sixteen, and I am going to have a Same Race Multi.
Little Tiger’s recent form has been outstanding, and he is seeking a third win in succession tonight, while Devel Sixteen has mixed her form, but gets conditions to suit.
I am going to select both runners to finish in the first two, and build out my bet further with Zivon Bale running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 Little Tiger (Top 2)
- 3 Devel Sixteen (Top 2)
- 5 Zivon Bale (Top 4)
The talented Mepunga Ruby steps out at The Meadows tonight, and she can record a deserved Group 1 win.
Mepunga Ruby’s recent form has been typically excellent, and she was last seen dominating a Group 2 race at Wentworth Park.
She’s a few weeks between starts, but I don’t think that will be a concern, while she’s drawn to receive a lovely run in transit.
At publish he is trading at even money, and for good reason. Jungle Deuce is one of, if not the best chaser in the country, and he can record another Group 1 win tonight.
Jungle Deuce has won each of his last seven starts in impressive fashion, breaking the clock often and already claiming two Group 1 features.
He is drawn a peach and is my best bet of the night.
This is one of the most open races of the night, it’s certainly the most open Group 1 feature, and a chaser like Idolize has claims on winning at a lovely price ($11 at publish).
Idolize hasn’t finished worse than second at her last six trips to the races, winning four times including a dominant performance on the speed in Group 1 company last time.
He’ll take up the running again tonight and will be in this for a long way.
