Wyong: Race 3 (2:25pm AEDT)
No. 10 Regal Pom

Regal Pom takes his place in the third at Wyong this afternoon and looks well placed to strike.

The Press Statement gelding is yet to salute in six trips to the races, but he has displayed decent ability, placing three times.

He steps out today third-up and with upside, and this looks a great opportunity for him to begin his rise through the grades.

Wyong: Race 6 (4:16pm AEDT)
No. 1 Private Detective

Private Detective is chasing a hat-trick of wins when he steps out at Wyong this afternoon, and he looks well placed to pull it off.

The Husson gelding charged into the winner’s stall in BM58 company at Orange two starts back, and he franked that effort with another eye-catching performance last time, this time in BM66 company.

He steps out today in peak order and with even luck, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.

Geelong: Race 6 (4:20pm AEDT)
No. 9 Northern Melody

Northern Melody will take plenty of improvement into her second campaign start at Geelong this afternoon, and she is primed to strike.

The Zoustar filly ended her last prep with an impressive win in maiden company, and she kept all of her best work for late when fourth, beaten two lengths in a stronger race at Sandown when resuming.

She harbours plenty of upside and is drawn to receive a lovely from barrier 3.

Wyong: Race 7 (5pm AEDT)
No. 2 Twice On Sunday

Twice On Sunday steps out this afternoon at peak fitness, and this looks the perfect race for her.

The Real Impact mare recorded an eye-catching win in BM74 company at Orange in December, and she has been far from disgraced in races at Gosford and Canterbury since.

She can slot in behind the early pace from barrier 8 and with even luck, she can finish over the top of her rivals.
