Gosford: Race 6 (8:38pm AEDT)
No. 7 Mighty Missile

Mighty Missile can return to winning form in Race 6 at Gosford tonight.

The son of Aston Dee Bee has raced well around some good chasers recently, and he recorded an eye-catching win in Newcastle two starts back, before a luckless run at The Gardens last time.

His form from out wide is good and with even luck, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.

Gosford: Race 7 (8:58pm AEDT)
No. 2 Miss Sadie Lea

This race maps beautifully for Miss Sadie Lea, and she can record another win.

The daughter of Collision has been a strong and largely consistent performer throughout her campaign, winning four of her last eight starts, including two in succession leading into this contest.

She can go straight to the lead from Box 2, and she’ll prove tough to catch over the sprint trip.

Gosford: Race 8 (9:18pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

With the benefit of an empty box to her inside, Fantastic Raven can return to winning form at Gosford tonight.

Fantastic Raven hasn’t won for a few months now, but she also hasn’t raced poorly, and she has finished in the minors in six of her last eight starts.

The depleted field size should play to her advantage from Box 7, and she can set the tone for the race up on the speed, so I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Vamos Penny finishing in the first three and Flashing Oscar finishing in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 7 Fantastic Raven (Win)
  • 4 Vamos Penny (Top 3)
  • 1 Flashing Oscar (Top 4)
Gosford: Race 9 (9:38pm AEDT)
No. 6 Typhoon To Excel

Typhoon To Excel is another chaser whose winning claims look to have been enhanced tonight, with the runner drawn in the box to his inside scratched.

Typhoon To Excel’s recent form has also been competitive, and he hasn’t been far away from the winner in some decent contests at Richmond at her last three trips to the races.

If he steps well, there’s no reason why he can’t fight out the finish again.
