UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs Daukaus Tips & Preview

The UFC stays in Las Vegas this weekend for the final event of the 2021 calendar year.

Not only do we have a cracker of a main event at Heavyweight but Wonderboy Thompson will take on Belal Muhammad at Welterweight.

Our full UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs Daukaus Tips & Preview can be found below.

Derrick Lewis vs Chris Daukaus
Chris Daukaus In Round 4, 5 or By Decision

What better way to end the year than with a Derrick Lewis fight!

The Black Beast was on a four fight win streak before losing his interim title fight against Ciryl Gane at UFC 265 back in August.

His opponent in the Main Event is Chris Daukaus who enters this fight having won 10 of his last 11 pro fights including all four inside the UFC promotion.

Four of those wins were by first round KO/TKO.

Lewis hasn’t reinvented himself in the last year or two, but he is a hell of a lot more focused and determined.

His cardio is a lot better and he has been a lot more patient however he runs into a legitimate threat in the Heavyweight division here.

Daukaus has been devastating in his recent wins but I have a feeling he will take his time here and pick Lewis a part and get a late finish or a decision win.

Stephen Thompson vs Belal Muhammad
Belal Muhammad @ $2.90

This is some sort of co-main event!

Wonderboy Thompson lost his last fight, and immediate title shot, when he lost via unanimous decision against Gilbert Burns at UFC 264 in July.

He is now 38 years of age and has just three wins in his last eight fights.

It has some questioning whether he is beyond his prime.

But not the punters. He will head into this fight as a warm favourite.

Belal Muhammad is a genuine threat to this division and he is undefeated in his last six fights.

This includes a no contest when he received a nasty eye poke from Leon Edwards in March.

Nine of his last 10 fights (excluding the NC) have required the judges and with our Split Decision Payout promotion, he is a very good bet h2h.

Amanda Lemos vs Angela Hill
Angela Hill @ $3.70

Amanda Lemos comes into this fight with Angela Hill having lost just once in her 12 fight career.

This includes a four fight win streak inside the UFC, her last two via first round TKO.

On the flip side Angela Hill has now lost three of her last four although two of those were by a close split decision.

She is a company favourite, taking fights wherever asked and this is her seventh fight in two years.

She is a very active fighter who can score points and she is another that appeals in h2h betting especially with her recent split decision loses.
