The Hobart Hurricanes have found some exceptional form, and the Brisbane Heat face a real task in slowing them down in Tasmania this afternoon.
It was a slow and inconsistent start to BBL11 for the ‘Canes, but three-consecutive wins, highlighted by two incredible Ben McDermott centuries as seen them climb into the top three.
The Heat have been largely poor and inconsistent, and they enter this match following another disappointing loss to the Sixers, having had them on the ropes.
The result of this one looks to be a pretty open and shut case in my opinion, and I’m also going to stick with McDermott until he gives me a reason not to.
The Sixers and Renegades have largely been two different classes of side through the early stages of BBL11, and betting suggests that the former will record another win at home tonight.
The Sixers, even when they haven’t played well, have got the job done in all but one of their seven matches, and they take their place in this contest on top of the table.
The Renegades have been terrible, and have lost each of their last five matches; winning just once this season.
I’m going to stick with the men in magenta, and Josh Philippe as well.
