Honour The Legend has improved for three starts back this time, and he is ready to win at Wagga this afternoon.
The Mitch Beer-trained gelding hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten just over a length here when resuming, and he has only just been denied at his last two.
He steps out today in peak order and with even luck, he can win again.
Mitch Beer looks to have several live chances in at Wagga today, including Miss Isolation.
Miss Isolation has been excellent since resuming this time, winning two of three starts, including a BM50 race at Albury last time.
She is drawn a peach this afternoon and with luck, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.
Tejori boasts a class edge in Race 7 at Wagga this afternoon, and she can record another win.
The Hinchinbrook mare wasn’t disgraced in a couple of Highway races earlier this campaign, and she struck with complete ease at Gundagai two back.
She takes her place in this field after finishing third, beaten less than a length at Randwick-Kensington, and she is my best bet of the day.
This looks to be one of the more open races on today’s Wagga program, and a horse like Crystal Waters looks a live chance at around the $11 mark.
Crystal Waters has returned to the races in great form this time, and recorded consecutive victories at Hawkesbury and Nowra before stepping out at Randwick-Kensington last time, albeit a failed tilt.
This is a substantial drop in class and we can have an each-way play at the price.
