Dapto: Race 6 (8:55pm AEDT)
No. 4 Trouble At Mill

Trouble At Mill looks well placed to strike at Dapto tonight.

The talented son of Unlawful Entry hasn’t won since October, and while he hasn’t had the best of luck, he has still managed to produce some quality performances and results.

He can use his box speed to cross to the rail, remain prominent and fight out the finish.

Hobart: Race 5 (9:04pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

The talented Do It can win this Hobart Thousand Heat.

Do It is one of the most talented chasers currently plying his trade in Australia, and he finished second in Group 2 company at Sandown Park two starts back, before winning with ease in Grade 5 company last time.

There isn’t a lot of value left in his win quote, so I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Quick Joey Small running into the first three and Tah Liam running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 6 Do It (Win)
  • 1 Quick Joey Small (Top 3)
  • 8 Tah Liam (Top 4)
Dapto: Race 7 (9:19pm AEDT)
No. 1 Sound Of Silence

Sound Of Silence has gone to a new level, and he can record the biggest win of his career in the Group 1 Dapto Megastar Final.

Simply put, Sound Of Silence doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and he has won five of his last seven starts, including a couple of dominant efforts in strong company at his last two.

He’ll need to be at his absolute best, but I am confident that he will be.

Hobart: Race 7 (9:54pm AEDT)
No. 1 Kinson Bale

Kinson Bale is drawn to receive all of the favours in his Hobart Thousand Heat, and he can book a place in next week’s final.

Kinson Bale has been a model of consistency throughout his campaign, and he recorded consecutive wins over 515m at Sandown Park before filling the minors behind Koblenz in the Melbourne Cup Final.

He’ll go straight to the lead tonight, dictate terms, and he can make every post a winner.
