Hobart: Race 5 (8:37pm AEDT)
No. 3 Frayah's Ginger

Frayah’s Ginger will take winning form into the fifth at Hobart tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The daughter of Worm Burner has been a model of consistency throughout her campaign, and she was rewarded for her form with a dominant win in fast time at Devonport last week.

She maps to go forward tonight from Box 3 and she can make every post a winner.

Sandown Park: Race 8 (9:28pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Devine Empress seemingly doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and she can win tonight’s Group 2 Laurel’s Classic Final.

The daughter of Barcia Bale has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence since debuting in September, and win each of her first four career starts before only just missing from out wide here last week.

She’s drawn to receive all of the favours tonight, so I am going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi, and build out my bet further with Loxton Bale running into the first three and Valeska Bale running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Devine Empress (Win)
  • 6 Loxton Bale (Top 3)
  • 2 Valeska Bale (Top 4)
Hobart: Race 8 (9:40pm AEDT)
No. 6 Do It

He is one of the best chasers in the country, and Do It can win the Group 1 Hobart Thousand Final.

Simply put, Do It doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and he recorded an easy win at Sandown Park two starts back before dominating his Heat here last week.

He’ll need to step well, but he is certainly up to the class, and he’ll take plenty of beating once more.

Sandown Park: Race 10 (10:07pm AEDT)
No. 2 Sailor's Girl

Sailor’s Girl has returned some competitive efforts in decent company recently, and this looms as a very winnable race for her.

The daughter of Mepunga Blazer last tasted success at The Meadows last month, but she hasn’t been far away from another win, and she filled the minors here last week.

She can go straight to the lead tonight from Box 2 and will give them something to chase.
