Nell Bell will take winning form into the fourth at The Gardens this afternoon and looks well placed to make it two in a row.
The daughter of Fernando Bale has continued to improve with racing recently, and couldn’t have been more impressive under virtually identical conditions here last week.
I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Brown Venom and Rising Dawn each running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 6 Nell Bell (Win)
- 4 Brown Venom (Top 4)
- 5 Rising Dawn (Top 4)
Ritza Franky Boy is chasing a hat-trick of wins when he steps out in Race 5 at The Gardens this afternoon, and I am confident that he can get it.
The son of Orson Allen has been a strong and consistent performer throughout his preparation, winning five of his last eight starts and placing on the other three occasions.
His form from out wide is good, and he can use his box speed to cross the field and take a prominent position in running.
Zipping Ontario is drawn to receive all of the favours in this afternoon’s Newcastle Cup Final, and I am happy to stick with him.
The son of Superior Panama was checked out of his race here almost immediately last week, but his form prior was excellent, and including dominant wins in fast time at Richmond and Wentworth Park.
He can lob on the pace this afternoon and make every post a winner.
Last-start winner Songar Whisper can win again when she steps out in the penultimate race at The Gardens this evening.
The daughter of Dyna Double One has won three of her last five starts, including an eye-catching effort from a central draw here last week.
She maps to go forward again tonight and with even luck, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.
