Cranbourne: Race 6 (8:27pm AEDT)
No. 3 Isolating

Isolating has been a consistent performer lately, and he looks well placed to strike at Cranbourne tonight.

The talented son of Fernando Bale flashed home late from out wide to finish second over 500m two starts back, and he was only to only just miss here again last time.

He maps to go forward from Box 3 tonight and he’ll prove tough to catch.

Cranbourne: Race 7 (8:51pm AEDT)
No. 4 Apache Runner

Apache Runner can return to winning form in Race 7 at Cranbourne tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale has been nothing short of outstanding throughout his campaign, and he has saluted in five of his last seven starts.

He was completely luckless in his most recently start at Warragul and was checked out of the race almost immediately, and with a better run tonight, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.

Cranbourne: Race 8 (9:11pm AEDT)
No. 5 Fernando Frank

The consistent Fernando Frank takes his place in Race 8 at Cranbourne tonight and is primed to win.

The son of Fernando Bale hasn’t missed placing in his last eight trips to the races, winning four times and finding form around some above average chasers.

He is drawn a tad awkwardly, but he should be able to use his box speed to cross and take up the running, and he can lead the whole way.

Cranbourne: Race 9 (9:27pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Last-start winner Aztec Blaze is drawn to receive all of the favours from Box 1 tonight and can win again.

The son of Mepunga Blazer did mix his form earlier in his campaign, but mustered an eye-catching turn of foot to get there at this track and distance last week.

I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Sir Chappy running into the first three and Loves A Dart running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Aztec Blaze (Win)
  • 2 Sir Chappy (Top 3)
  • 8 Loves A Dart (Top 4)
