Trade Radio Adds No-Repeat Workday and Gotcha Calls to Lineup.

THE beloved AFL Trade Radio is going through a major shake-up of its own revealing they will be launching a no-repeat workday and gotcha calls for the rest of the Trade Period, which is set to run into Round 12 of the 2022 season.

Facing serious competition from Smooth FM and Gold 104, Trade Radio believes that the radical no-repeat workday, gotcha calls along with bringing back some iconic FM competitions – such as Beat the Bomb and Secret Sound will give it the edge in the never-ending radio ratings WAR.

Trade Radio is also offering to put up a prize, which is tickets to the Incubus concert, COLD HARD CASH and an ICY COLD CAN OF COKE if they break the no-repeat workday promise.

Trade Radio’s No-Repeat workday will work as such:

  • IF Kane Cornes suggests a star player that will never be traded and is still under contract should consider a move – YOU WIN!
  • IF Matt Rendell suggests the same club needs an entire list overhaul within 2-hours – YOU WIN!
  • IF Damien Barret says “My sources tell me” twice in the same hour then YOU WIN!
  • IF TWO players hose down the notion they are moving clubs within the hours of 9-5, YOU WIN!
  • IF Mitch Cleary and Tom Browne come up with the same whisper within the same workday – YOU WIN!
  • IF SOS says Adrian Dodoro more than once in an on-air shift, YOU WIN!

However, the fun doesn’t stop there on Trade Radio.

The breakfast show, now called Cornes and Lloydy’s Morning Madhouse will be bringing back the GOTCHA CALL!

Each morning at 7:45 am, Kane Cornes and/or Matthew Lloyd will put on a silly voice, call up an unsuspecting player to tell them they’ve been traded to the Gold Coast Suns.

Only to tell them they’ve been GOTCHA’ED when the suspect player starts crying.

Lots of Laughs with Kane’s GOTCHA CALLS😂

The boys will compile a CD of the best Trade Radio Gotcha Calls just in time for Christmas.

Along with the No-Repeat Workday and Gotcha Calls, cutting-edge competitions Secret Sound and Beat the Bomb are now part of the Trade Radio format.

When you hear the sound of a text message, call in and ask “Is that Ricky Nixon sending a text pretending to be the Trade Whisperer on Twitter?” and see if you win.

Beat the Bomb is back, with a new special format where a player has to say “STOP” as the clock ticks with various salaries and new clubs to play for.

“The All-New Trade Radio” as it will now be referred to believes this will set the station up to number one in the ratings.

Less Talk. More Trades. The All-New Trade Radio.

THIS IS A PISS TAKE. TRADE RADIO IS NOT CHANGING ITS FORMAT. ALTHOUGH WE THINK THEY SHOULD CONSIDER SOME OF THESE SUGGESTIONS, ESPECIALLY THE GOTCHA CALLS.
