The Bulls are attempting to keep their perfect record alive when they welcome the Knicks to Chicago.
Chicago rebuilt their roster in the offseason, adding three guards in DeRozan, Lonzo Ball, and Caruso to play alongside the talents duo of LaVine and Vucevic.
Many pundits believed this collection of players would lead to defensive inefficiencies, when in fact the likes of Lonzo and Caruso have been able to lockdown perimeter shooting, lifting the Bulls defensive rating to fourth in the league!
The Knicks on the other hand have bolstered their offensive capabilities by adding outside shooters in Walker and Fournier, who are both shooting the lights out at the minute.
Four of the last five games between this pair in Chicago have gone UNDER the total points line and although NYK has improved offensively, I can see them struggling from deep against the Bulls’ defensively savvy guards.
Both the Wizards and the Hawks are looking to go 4-1 when they meet in Washington.
Atlanta come into this fixture off the back of a nail-biting victory over the Pels, while the Wiz coasted to a 9-point win in Boston.
Understandably, the Hawks a slight favourites despite being on the road, building on their solid form from the back-half of last season.
Though Trae Young and co have failed to cover the spread on both of their away fixtures and both games following a win.
Alternatively, the Wizards look much improved following the acquisitions of Kuzma, Harrell, KPC and Dinwiddie during the offseason.
Winning back-to-back away games is never an easy feat, and although Trae has been balling out, I’m backing the Wiz to lock him down in this one.
