Rosehill: Race 2 (2pm AEDT)
No. 3 Depiction

Depiction will take winning form into the second at Rosehill today, and he looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The Exceed And Excel gelding finished down the order on debut in January and was immediately put away, and that decision has already started to pay dividends, with him returning a dominant winner at Newcastle.

This is harder, but he couldn’t have been more impressive last time, and it does look the next logical step.

Sale: Race 4 (2:10pm AEDT)
No. 2 Sudoko

Sudoko looks well placed to win first-up at Sale this afternoon.

The Rubick gelding stamped himself as a runner to follow when breaking his maiden with ease on debut at Ballarat, and he was returned to the paddock after filling the minors in a better race at Caulfield.

He clearly races well fresh, and this is a drop in class for him.

Sale: Race 6 (3:20pm AEDT)
No. 6 Super Thief

Last-start winner Super Thief has opened favourite in betting ahead of Race 6 at Sale today, and for good reason.

The Super Easy gelding finished second on debut at Cranbourne and was sent for a break, and he resumed last month with a bullish performance and win at Swan Hill.

He’ll only improve for that effort, and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again today.

Rosehill: Race 8 (5:30pm AEDT)
No. 2 Zakat

Zakat is over the odds to strike in the last at Rosehill this afternoon.

The Saturday-quality galloper filled the minors in his first two starts back this time, and he was simply too far back in running to fight out the finish at last appearance.

I concede that this is a quality field, but he is just the best horse engaged in my opinion and I am more than keen to dive in at such a healthy price.
