Flighty Fernando looms as the runner to beat again when he contests Race 6 at Richmond tonight.
The son of Fernando Bale has been a model of consistency throughout his prep, and he has won four of his last seven starts, placing second on two other occasions.
I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Good Odds Fammo and Fence Lady each running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 3 Flighty Fernando (Win)
- 3 Good Odd Fammo (Top 4)
- 4 Fence Lady (Top 4)
Zipping Ontario boasts a class edge in Race 8 at Richmond tonight and I am happy to stick with him.
The son of Superior Panama has won four of his last seven starts and has missed placing only once on the other three occasions.
His form from out wide is good, and includes a dominant win in fast time the last occasion he left from Box 7.
This race maps beautifully for Knockabout Sue, and I am happy to have something on.
The daughter of Don’t Knocka Him doesn’t win out of turn, but she is as honest as they come, and she has been undone by poor luck more than anything this prep.
She can go straight to the lead from Box 1 tonight and she’ll tough to catch over the short trip.
He has drawn wide, but I think that Zambora Jet’s early pace will prove the difference in Race 10 at Richmond tonight.
Zambora Jet has returned some lovely efforts recently, and he recorded an impressive win at this track and distance earlier this month, while he only just missed last time.
He can cross the field, take up the running and he’ll be in this contest for a long way.
