A History of Celebs on the Punt in Cup Week

The Melbourne Cup Carnival has a long and proud history of the rich, famous, powerful, movers, shakers, and celebrities from A grade – Z grade turning up at Headquarters on Derby, Cup, Oaks, and Stakes Day -if not the entire week just to be seen.

Some say that none of them look at one horse for the entire day, but we know that not to be true.

With the return (of some) Punters and people back to Flemington for the 2021 Melbourne Cup Carnival, we look back into the archives and reveal how the celebrity guests from over the years went on the Punt in Cup Week.
