The action returns to the famed Great Western Hotel in Rockhampton on Saturday night, and we are set for another adrenalin charged PBR buck!
Australia’s best cowboys will climb aboard some of Australia’s meanest bulls, and there simply isn’t a more exhilarating eight seconds in sport.
The PBR is an outstanding betting sport boasting plenty of value, I am confident that I have unearthed some of it in my PBR Rockhampton Invitational Tips below.
Simply put, Aaron Kleier is the best cowboy currently going around in Australia, and I am more than happy to take the $1.62 that is available for him to beat Amigo this week.
Kleier has podiumed at six of his last seven events, and recorded an impressive win here in Rockhampton in late July.
Amigo has failed to unseat his rival in his last two appearances for the PBR, and it’s tough imagining anything changing against an opponent of Kleier’s quality.
He is another one of PBR Australia’s standout performers, and Kurt Shephard looms as a key winning chance again in his match with Iron Jacket.
Shephard has also returned scoring rides in each of his last eight events, and he too recorded an impressive event win here in Rockhampton back in June.
He is riding with plenty of confidence, and I think he’s good enough to beat Iron Jacket who himself has been in competitive form.
An interesting battle looms between Lachlan Richardson and Breaking Bad in Rockhampton.
I am a big fan of the former, he remains one of the better cowboys on the Australian PBR tour and he recorded an impressive win at the PBR Bull Mania event in Burnett Heads early last month.
Breaking Bad meanwhile has had three starts at PBR events for only one win, but that was against an in-form Macauley Leather during the most-recent Origin event in Cairns, and for that reason, I am happy to roll the dice on the bull once more.
Popular Rocky local Caiden Sandilands faces a stern task at Saturday’s Invitational, and it’s tough imagining him covering Arm Chair.
Sandilands has returned a scoring ride in just one of his last seven events, and he climbs aboard a bull in Arm Chair, who is yet to be defeated in six previous appearances at the PBR.
I think that the bull will win, and I think that there is value to be found in low to mid-range bands betting.
Betting suggests that this match between Troy Wilkinson and M60 will be one of the better of the night, but I am happy to side with the bull.
Wilkinson finished tenth at the PBR Origin II Event in Cairns at his most recent appearance, and his failed to get on the board at his four events leading into that.
M60 has recorded two wins from three appearances at the PBR, and I think that he looks a touch of overs at his current price.
