Eagle Farm will host Brisbane’s major metropolitan meet this weekend, and nine races are on the program.
The rail will be left in the true position around the entire course, the track is likely to be rated in the Good (4) range, and I’ve done all of the heavy lifting for you with my complete Eagle Farm Tips below.
Aswaat can record another win at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
The Rob Heathcote-trained galloper has improved noticeably for her four starts back this time, culminating in an easy win on the Sunshine Coast last time.
This is harder, but it does look like the next logical step.
At publish, two horses in Finsceal and Duchess Rothesay tie the top line of betting at odds of $4.40, but I’m confident that the former owns the superior formline.
Finsceal has made just three appearances at the races so far, but won on debut and chased home the exciting Release The Beans here a fortnight ago.
Fitter fourth-up, this looks like a great opportunity to win again.
I’m going to have something on Adelase to bounce back at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
Adelase recorded two impressive wins after taking up the running at Doomben two and three starts back, and she was unlucky to be pipped on the line by Baanone here last time.
She meets that horse better at the weights this week and can turn the tables.
This looks the perfect race for Navy Cross.
He has been a good horse for the Waterhouse & Bott yard for several seasons now, and he has picked off plenty of races like this one along the way.
Despite being yet to score in five starts back this time, there is no doubt that he has continued to improve, and was last seen finishing fourth in Saturday company in Sydney.
He’ll relish the drop in class and probably won’t be offered a better opportunity to win on a Saturday.
Only six horses remain in contention, but this still remains one of the strongest contests on Saturday’s Eagle Farm program.
Je Suis Belle has returned to the track in excellent form, and I am going to stick with her this week.
The Bel Esprit mare filled the minors of her first two back, both similar races to this one, and she was rewarded for her improving condition with an easy win here last time.
She looks to be in peak condition now, and she’ll take plenty of beating again.
Chris Munce has elected to scratch Superbowl Sunday from Race 5 to instead run here, and I think that he is offering terrific value.
He took up the running at the Sunshine Coast two back and was never headed, but did fade from a forward position in a tougher contest here last time.
He gets some relief in the weights this week, it does look to be a weaker race and at around the $12 mark, we can have an each-way play.
Sydney raider Undeniable can record another win when she steps out in Brisbane on Saturday.
The Not A Single Doubt mare has been a strong and consistent performer this prep, and she strode clear to record a soft win in Class 3 company here last time.
This is a rise in class, but she certainly looks up to it, and with even luck I have little doubt that she can strike again.
There looks to be several winning chances engaged in the penultimate race at Eagle Farm on Saturday, and the resuming Rubiquitous looks to be some serious value at around the $14 mark.
Rubiquitous has just two starts during his debut prep, but he more than stamped himself as a runner to follow in winning with ease on the Sunshine Coast and finishing a close second behind Mystic Gem at Doomben.
His trial early last month suggested that he has only improved in his time away from the track, and we can have another each-way play.
Legendary trainer John Moore can strike in town on Saturday when Samurai goes around in the last at Eagle Farm.
Samurai has been a great horse for Moore’s Gold Coast set-up this prep, and he was rewarded for his continually improving condition with a tight win here three weeks ago.
He looks to be at peak fitness now and he’ll get some relief in the weights under premiership winning apprentice Jaden Lloyd.
