Ballarat: Race 4 (7:58pm)
No. 2 Kanji Nano

Kanji Nano will take winning form into the fourth at Ballarat tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The daughter of Fernando Bale has been a model of consistency recently, and she was rewarded for her improving condition with a lovely win in a similar race here last time.

She’s a few weeks between runs, but maps extremely well, and I am happy to stick with her.

Ballarat: Race 5 (8:18pm)
No. 2 In The Spotlight

In The Spotlight has enjoyed a lucrative start to his career and he can record another win at Ballarat tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale immediately stamped himself as a runner to follow when winning on debut in fast time at Sale, and while he missed at his second start, he returned to winning form here last week.

He can go straight to the lead tonight and will give them something to chase.

Ballarat: Race 6 (8:38pm)
No. 1 Indy Matilda

Indy Matilda looks beautifully placed to record another win at Ballarat tonight.

The daughter of Droopys Jet has won two of her last three starts, highlighted by a bullish performance in fast time at this track and distance last week.

She is another who maps to go forward tonight, and she will be tough to catch once more.

Ballarat: Race 9 (9:38pm)
Same Race Multi

This shapes as Kanji Kilo’s race to lose.

Kanji Kilo has returned several impressive efforts recently, highlighted by the standout performance of her career so far, which saw her break the clock here at Ballarat.

There isn’t much value left in her win quote, so I am instead going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Mr. Blue running into the first three and Tinker Crest running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections:

  • 2 Kanji Kilo (Win)
  • 1 Mr. Blue (Top 3)
  • 8 Tinker Crest (Top 4)
