Impress Patch has been a strong and consistent performer this prep and shapes as the runner to beat in Race 4 at Angle Park this evening.
The son of Fernando Bale hasn’t missed placing at his last seven trips to the races, winning four times and finding form around some above average chasers.
He maps to go straight to the lead tonight and he’ll be in this for a long way.
This shapes as a race in two between Came And Went and Gemtree Maximus, and I am eager to have a Same Race Multi.
Came And Went was rewarded for his continually improving condition with a lovely win over this route last week, while Gemtree Maximus is gunning for a fourth win in succession.
I can’t split them, so I am going to select both runners to finish in the top two, and build out my bet further with Canya Storm running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 2 Came And Went (Top 2)
- 8 Gemtree Maximus (Top 2)
- 1 Canya Storm (Top 4)
He has made just four appearances at the races so far, but Mallee Magic has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence, and he can record another win at Angle Park tonight.
The son of Worm Burner did plenty wrong on debut and finished down the order, but broke his maiden with ease at Murray Bridge second-up, and has recorded another two dominant wins in the wake.
This is another rise in class, but it does look the next obvious target.
Victa Grosso is drawn to receive all the favours in Race 10 at Angle Park tonight and can return to winning form.
The son of Fernando Bale charged in to score an eye-catching win from out wide at Gawler two starts back, and he flashed late to fill the minors in a similar contest last time.
He can take up the running from Box 1 and can make every post a winner.
