The Meadows: Race 7 (6:15pm)
No. 3 Bop Bop

Bop Bop has been a strong and consistent performer recently and strikes another winnable race at The Meadows this evening.

The son of Cosmic Rumble hasn’t missed placing in his last seventh trips to the races, winning impressively three times.

He can use his box speed to cross the couple drawn inside and take up the running, and he’ll be in something like this for a long way.

The Meadows: Race 8 (6:34pm)
No. 1 Daph's Ascend

Daph’s Ascend will take winning form into the eighth at The Meadows this evening, and she looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The daughter of Fernando Bale rarely returns a poor effort, but her win under similar conditions here last week was particularly impressive.

She won’t have any excuses from Box 1 and she’ll take plenty of beating again.

The Meadows: Race 10 (7:18pm)
No. 1 Hear The Drum

Hear The Drum is drawn to lead Race 10 at The Meadows this evening, and he can make every post a winner.

The son of Fernando Bale has finished worse than second only once in his last five trips to the races, and he was unlucky to be pipped on the line at Geelong last week.

With a soft run on the pace, he’ll be hard to catch once more.

The Meadows: Race 11 (7:38pm)
Same Race Multi

This shapes as Aston Future’s race to lose.

Aston Future hasn’t won since April, but he has continued to race well around some above-average chasers, and he has contested some tough races.

He’ll have the benefit of an empty box to his outside tonight, so I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Affair Bit running into the first three and Uncle’s Girl running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 4 Aston Future (Win)
  • 1 Affair Bit (Top 3)
  • 8 Uncle’s Girl (Top 4)
