Richmond: Race 4 (8:18pm)
No. 2 Muffler

She has made just two appearances at the races so far, but Muffler looks to have plenty of ability, and she can return to winning form at Richmond tonight.

The daughter of Fernando Bale recorded a dominant win on debut at Gosford, but she was checked out of her last start almost immediately, and I am happy to put a pen through it.

Fitter third-up and from an inside draw, she can strike back.

Richmond: Race 6 (8:58pm)
No. 3 Lock Master

Lock Master has gone to a new level recently, and looms as the runner to beat again in the sixth at Richmond tonight.

The son of Fernando Bale stripped fitter with a few fair efforts earlier in his prep, but returned to winning form over 472m three runs ago, and he simply hasn’t looked back.

He can use his superior box speed to go straight to the lead and he will give them something to chase.

Richmond: Race 8 (9:38pm)
Same Race Multi

Metlife Stadium looks the runner to beat in the eighth at Richmond tonight.

The son of Orson Allen has made just three appearances at the races so far, but he has noticeably improved with each, culminating in a dominant win here last time.

I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish, so I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Front Row and Zambora Pete each running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 6 Metlife Stadium (Win)
  • 3 Front Row (Top 4)
  • 5 Zambora Pete (Top 4)
Richmond: Race 10 (10:18pm)
No. 5 Sunrise Dancer

Sunrise Dancer is chasing a hat-trick of wins at Richmond tonight, and she looks capable of pulling it off.

The daughter of Fernando Bale rarely returns a poor effort, but her last two have been particularly impressive, and including a fast effort here last week.

With even luck from the potentially awkward draw, it does look very winnable.
