There isn’t a lot of form in this race, but I think that All England can break his maiden.
The I Am Invincible colt showed promise at the trials prior to debuting, and he has finished third and fourth in two maiden races here at Randwick-Kensington so far.
Fitter third-up and from barrier 1, I think that this is his opportunity to strike.
Brookspire can make a winning return to the races at Randwick-Kensington this afternoon.
The Hinchinbrook mare hasn’t been seen at the races since May, but she is yet to miss placing at this point of her preparation, and this is a decent drop in class from what she was contesting at the end of her last prep.
She’s had a couple of nice trials in the lead-up to her return and this looks a launch spring launchpad for her.
This is one of the stronger races on today’s Sandown program, and a horse like Northwest Passage has claims on winning at around the $10 mark.
Northwest Passage’s career has included a couple of lengthy breaks, but he has recorded some excellent result throughout, including three wins in Listed company.
I think he’ll enjoy plenty of improvement from his first-up effort for fifth behind Hi Stranger at The Valley, and he’ll get some relief in the weights today under Josh Richards.
Invincible Jet will take winning form into the penultimate race at Sandown today and can continue his rise through the grades.
The I Am Invincible gelding went to the paddock after winning by nearly five lengths at Kembla Grange in December, and he picked up where he left off with an eye-catching win here earlier this month.
He’ll only improve for that effort and is drawn to receive a lovely run under Damien Oliver.
