Daily Racing Tips – Murwillumbah Cup Day Edition

Murwillumbah: Race 3 (1:55pm)
No. 3 The Crown

He has had just one career start so far, but The Crown was impressive on debut, and he can begin his rise through the grades at Murwillumbah this afternoon.

The Hallowed Crown gelding raced greenly in the early stages of his debut at Lismore, but he let down with a smart turn of foot to comfortably put away his rivals.

I’m confident that experience will see him take plenty of improvement into this contest.

Murwillumbah: Race 5 (3:10pm)
No. 3 Sweeping The Board

Sweeping The Board will take plenty of improvement into his second campaign start at Murwillumbah this afternoon and can return to winning form.

The Toronado gelding was a model of consistency last time, and he kept all of his best work for late when fourth in BM60 at Ipswich when resuming.

I’m confident a return to his home track today will suit and he is drawn to receive a lovely run.

Murwillumbah: Race 6 (3:50pm)
No. 3 Rari

He has been a little frustrating since arriving in Scott Henley’s care, but I remain a big fan of Rari, and I think that the Murwillumbah Newmarket is the perfect target for him.

The Sizzling gelding has returned plenty of strong efforts throughout his career, and he does enter this race off the back of a bullish win at Doomben.

He’s rock-hard fit and needs only even luck in running to be in the finish again.

Murwillumbah: Race 7 (4:25pm)
No. 1 Willo Titto

Michael Costa’s horses are flying, and I am confident that Willo Titto can return the stable another feature win when she steps out in the Murwillumbah Cup this afternoon.

Willo Titto is yet to miss placing in three starts back this time, winning a BM85 race at Doomben two back and filling the minors in the Coffs Cup last time out.

She looks to be cherry ripe for this race and even with topweight, I think she’ll take a power of beating once more.
