Australia’s golden girl Emma McKeon is back in the pool for the Women’s 100m Butterfly final this morning, but there is no doubt that she has her work cut out for her with China’s Zhang Yufei.
McKeon could realistically become Australia’s greatest-ever Olympian this year, and she has already tasted success in Tokyo after playing a key role in Australia’s world record-breaking Women’s 4x100m freestyle yesterday.
Zhang’s form has been nothing short of outstanding for a few years now and this looks a terrific opportunity to have a Same Game Multi.
The United States looked very good on their way to a comfortable win over Australia in yesterday’s heat, and they will take a power of beating in the 4 x 100m freestyle relay.
Unlike the women’s discipline, the United States are a level above in Men’s freestyle and boast several of the world’s best.
Given they did it without Caleb Dressel, I can’t find a reason why they won’t be winning and adding Australia to win a medal boosts our value.
