Taree: Race 1 (12:25pm)
No. 7 Oblivion

Oblivion only just missed when he resumed here at Taree and he can go one better in the first this afternoon.

The Winning Rupert gelding finished midfield in a couple of start during his short debut prep, but returned to the races this time with an eye-catching effort behind The Jaguar.

He strips fitter for that hit-out and on exposed form, looks the one to beat today.

Taree: Race 5 (2:45pm)
No. 2 Linguee

Linguee looks well placed to return to winning form at Taree this afternoon.

The Panzer Division filly recorded a lovely win in Class 1 company at Newcastle when resuming and hasn’t been far away from the winner at Warwick Farm and Gosford since.

She looks to be in peak fitness for this contest and she’ll take beating.

Taree: Race 6 (3:20pm)
No. 14 Superel

The scratching of early favourite Enamour has blown this race wide open, and I’m confident that a horse like Superel has claims on winning at a price.

Superel has mixed her form this prep, but I like that she is on the short back-up into this contest and importantly, she has form on a rain-affected track.

This is a drop in class and she gets in well under the conditions.

Taree: Race 7 (4pm)
No. 5 Mikado

Mikada is seeking a hat-trick of wins when he steps out in the last at Taree today and looks capable of pulling it off.

The Exceed And Excel gelding scored a lovely win in maiden company at Grafton when fresh, and franked that effort with a dominant win in Class 1 company last time.

Fitter third-up, he needs only even luck to be in the finish again.
