Ibrox Avatar doesn’t win out of turn, but this does look to be the easiest race that he has contested in some time, and I’m happy to have something on.
The son of Sh Avatar flashed late to finish second behind Zipping Ontario at Wentworth Park three starts back, and he was unlucky to be pipped late here last time.
If he can cross the field from out wide tonight, I think he’ll take a power of beating.
Ziggy Stardust has found outstanding form recently and looks the runner to beat again in the fifth at Gosford tonight.
The son of Fabregas recorded three bullish wins in succession in tougher company than he strikes tonight, and he enters this contest off the back of a close second placing over 520m at Warwick Farm.
If he lands into a good spot from Box 4, he can win again.
Dusty Charm is drawn to receive all the favours in the sixth at Gosford tonight and can return to winning form.
The daughter of Ando’s Mac hasn’t missed placing at her last seven starts, winning three times and breaking the clock on several occasions.
From Box 1, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.
This shapes as a race in two between Fire On Ice and Ebby Jet Power, and I am eager to have a Same Race Multi.
Fire On Ice has been a model of consistency recently and was unlucky not to win at Richmond last time, while Ebby Jet Power’s form has also been of a typically high standard.
I can’t split them, so I’m going to select both chasers to finish in the first two, and build out my bet further with Fire Legend running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 Fire On Ice (Top 2)
- 3 Ebby Jet Power (Top 2)
- 7 Fire Legend (Top 4)
