Sandown Park: Race 4 (7:10pm)
No. 7 Weblec Eagle

Weblec Eagle has been a strong and consistent performer recently and looks the one to beat in Race 4 at Sandown Park tonight.

The talented daughter of Barcia Bale hasn’t missed placing at her last seven trips to the races, winning three times including a particularly bullish performance at this track and distance last time, which saw her greet the judge ten lengths ahead of her rivals.

With even luck from out wide, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.

Sandown Park: Race 7 (8:19pm)
No. 8 Run Like Jess

Run Like Jess takes a class edge into Race 7 at Sandown Park tonight and he can return to winning form.

The talented son of Fernando Bale has returned several typically impressive performances since returning from a spell, and he was unlucky not be pipped at the death of a 600m contest at The Meadows last time out.

His form when leaving from a wide draw is good and this looks a lovely race for him.

Sandown Park: Race 8 (8:40pm)
Same Race Multi

Zipping Rambo’s recent form has been nothing short of outstanding, and he can record another win at Sandown Park tonight.

The son of Mister Twister hasn’t finished worse than second at his last eight starts, winning five times, highlighted by an impressive win in the Group 1 Sandown Cup Final here last month.

There isn’t much value left in his win quote understandably, so I’m instead going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Hank The Hustler running into the first three and Star Blazer running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 4 Zipping Rambo (Win)
  • 1 Hank The Hustler (Top 3)
  • Star Blazer (Top 4)
Sandown Park: Race 9 (9:02pm)
No. 5 Sweet Petit

Sweet Petit has gone to another level this campaign and she’ll take a power of beating again in the eighth at Sandown Park tonight.

The daughter of Fabregas took a few starts to tune up earlier in her preparation, but stormed home to score in style at The Meadows last month and hasn’t looked back; winning each of her last three impressively.

She’ll use her box speed to go forward from the central draw and she’ll be tough to catch.
