Madlenka has stamped herself as a chaser to follow since making her debut in April, and she can record another win at Warrnambool tonight.
The daughter of Fernando Bale has raced almost exclusively at this track and distance during her five trips to the races so far, winning twice and finishing a close-up second last time out.
She’ll go straight to the lead tonight from Box 2 and she will give them something to chase.
Super Marli typically keeps her best performances for when she is drawn out wide, and she’ll take plenty of beating in Race 6 at Warrnambool tonight.
The daughter of Barcia Bale crossed her rivals and charged clear to greet the judge seven lengths ahead of her rivals at Geelong three starts back, and she has only been undone by poor luck at her last two.
She boasts a class edge over most of these rivals and she might not be offered a better opportunity to win again.
This shapes as a race in two between Zimmer Nale and Russian Sub, and I am eager to have a Same Race Multi.
Zimmer Bale will take winning form into this contest after scoring a narrow win here last week, while Russian Sub has been a strong and consistent performer in tougher contests than this.
I can’t split them, so I’m going to select both runners to finish in the first two and build out my bet further with Aston Profit running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 Zimmer Bale (Top 2)
- 2 Russian Sub (Top 2)
- 5 Aston Profit (Top 4)
Aubameyang looks to have found top gear and he can record another win at Warrnambool tonight.
The son of Kinda Cruel Red has continued to improve with each effort recently, culminating in impressive and consecutive victories over 440m at Sale.
This is probably a touch harder, but he is drawn to receive all of the favours and will be in this contest for a long way.
