Sandown Park: Race 4 (7:22pm)
No. 2 Empress Tears

The consistent Empress Tears can return to winning form in Race 4 at Sandown Park tonight.

The talented daughter of Fernando Bale rarely returns a poor effort, and she was particularly impressive in some decent races in Sydney, and she has really only been undone by poor luck since arriving in Victoria.

She’s rock-hard fit, drawn to effect and this looks her opportunity to strike.

Sandown Park: Race 6 (8:02pm)
Same Race Multi

Christo Bale has found top gear and can record another win at Sandown Park tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale has been nothing short of outstanding this campaign, and he has won seven of his last eight starts, finishing a close-up second on the other occasion.

I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi, and increase my value by including Shadow Mist to finish in the first three and Drako Bale to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 6 Christo Bale (Win)
  • 1 Shadow Mist (Top 3)
  • 4 Drako Bale (Top 4)
best bet
Sandown Park: Race 7 (8:25pm)
No. 1 Jarick Bale

Jarick Bale is drawn to receive the gun run in Race 7 at Sandown Park tonight and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

The son of Allen Deed recorded dominant and consecutive wins at this track and distance three and four starts back, and he has only been undone by poor luck at The Meadows most recently.

Returning to his pet conditions tonight suits and he is my best bet on the program.

Sandown Park: Race 8 (8:49pm)
No. 2 Gypsy Yankee

This is one of the more open races on tonight’s Sandown Park program, and a chaser like Gypsy Yankee has genuine claims on winning.

Gypsy Yankee has been a strong and consistent performer throughout her campaign, and she charged home to score at this track and distance in early June; returning to winning form at Geelong most notably last time.

She can go straight to the lead from Box 2 and she’ll give them something to chase.
